We loved the stay here! Giovanni and the reception staff were super nice and fun to talk to! The room had a decent view, comfortable beds, clean, plenty of room, and was at a decent temperature. It was also a convenient drive to downtown and to the convention center as well. The free hot breakfast was also delicious. Hotel was also well maintained. Overall, highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We were met by Gio and he was so nice to us. He gave us complimentary drinks and one appetizer because we were celebrating our anniversary. The room was clean and put together nicely. The staff members were over the top nice and extremely helpful. We had a great time at the hotel whenever we were not on the town.

We loved our stay. James and Giovanni were the nicest hotel hosts we have seen for awhile. Hats of to them and management for excellent customer service. The food was excellent, the rooms were big and had many extras for a long or short stay. We love the pool area and beach vibes. Great place to stay. We are Bonvoy members and will continue to choose Marriott for our many future travels. 😀

The staff was very welcoming! The hotel itself was extravagant! ver good 10/10 will visit again! Giovanni is great please keep him around he’s very committed to his job! The hotel was very clean and had a friendly environment! The bonfire was relaxing to sit by at a cold time like this.

Great spot. So thankful for Giovanni at check in.||Not only was he accommodating, but funny, knowledgeable and helpful. ||He was able to extend our stay with no issues, and made us feel at home as soon as we got through the doors. ||Much appreciated. A type of care and consideration that can be hard to find these days.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for 3 days, and the suite was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. A dishwasher, refrigerator, stocked with plates, silverware, and plenty of room. It was clean and the staff was friendly, and the pool was open until 10 pm. It's right on seawall drive, and we even had a partial view of the ocean. It is so convenient to be right across from the ocean. Giovanni was at the reception desk when we arrived & he was so friendly and helpful. The king-size bed was roomy & so comfortable. They also have a free continental breakfast. Nothing major, but enough for a quick bite in the morning. I would definitely recommend this location & and I would stay there again if we go back to Galveston.

Comfortable affordable & professional. We stayed three nights. The beds are comfortable & the place was clean. It comes packed with everything you need. The front desk staff are professional & nice. Always have tea, water, & hot coffee at the front.

Ended up booking a stay with them as soon as we got to Galveston because of an Airbnb fall through. Front office staff was extremely nice and friendly. Breakfast staff was friendly and made sure everyone had what they needed. Cleaners always greeted when we passed them in the hallways. Pet friendly with a fee of $100 which I was perfectly fine with because the pricing was no different than what we were paying for our Airbnb. I was worried about our dog being in the room during cleaning services while we weren’t there, but she was perfectly fine and we came back to them giving her a free toy while we were gone. Happily welcomed our dog with a doggy bag that contained treats and dog bowls. We ended up being very grateful that we ended up here instead of the original place we had booked. Behind another hotel, but directly across from the beach. Not walking distance to much, but it was an easy drive to all the attractions! Will be booking with TownePlace suites again in the future!
